Well, i am a guy that stands on existing protocol. The protocol here is what stated in the quran. What ever i do, i do it with fear. Hence, cheating on one’s spouse is against the law. No. Laws like this are usually steroetypical. If this exists for real, we’d find out it’s basically against the women because men are assumed to have the “natural” right to cheat. But the “bought” woman mustn’t cheat.
On a second note, if the law is equally measured, then it’s wrong. Marriage must’nt be associated with death threat. Vows are enough to bound a person’s loyalty. Also if you love a person genuinely, you’d never even be able to nurse the thought of cheating on them. It is therefore also important we marry whom we love and trust.
